Botanical: Malva rotundifolia

Used internally for inflammation and ulceration of the digestive tract, hiatal hernia, excess mucus, asthma, urinary  tract infections, irritating coughs.   

  • Has a mucus membrane protective effect; relieves irritation because of the high level of muculagous material. Used for irritations of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, dry irritation coughs.

  • Anti-inflammatory, diuretic, expectorant, emollient.
